Volunteers Needed!

Attention all Volunteers!

The Lifecycle Building Center ( is a non-profit led by Adam Deck (a friend of the Office of Sustainability who helped with our recent energy upgrade project).

Over the next two weekends (October 8/9 & 15/16) from 8:30am-5:00pm, they will be salvaging materials ranging from lighting to cabinets to shelving from a CDC building at Emory so that they can be repurposed rather than sent to landfills. They are seeking volunteers to help with this effort and would love to invite people from the Agnes Scott Community.

This past weekend was a great success and you can see pictures of volunteers salvaging materials here:

The only requirements of volunteers are that they need to be 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen. Both morning and afternoon shifts are available.

For volunteers this coming weekend (Oct. 8/9), please let our contacts know by Wednesday October 5th.

For the following weekend (Oct. 15/16), please let our contacts know by next Wednesday, Oct. 12.

If you are interested in volunteering please send an e-mail to either one of our two contacts below:
